There are daily flights from (Departs 09:30am arrive 12:00pm) Zanzibar to Mikumi National Park, this is a perfect 3 hours game safari if you just want to experience the wildlife and you’re limited on time travel. The drive from Dar es salaam to Mikumi takes about 7 hours plus 3-hour boat Safari from Zanzibar to Dar Es salaam. Full travel from Zanzibar to Mikumi seems complicated to some people, therefore they opt for flight.

In this safari you will have only 3 hours of game drive with your packed lunch, as your flight back to Zanzibar will departs 15:00pm and arrive in Zanzibar 17:00pm. In this safari you will have an opportunity of three-hour game drive through out mikumi national park and probably you will see a lot of animals including big five depending to weather.

ARRIVAL IN MIKUMI NATIONAL PARK

Early morning on this day our driver will pick you up at the place of stay in Zanzibar and drive to the Airport to catch your flight to Mikumi which departs 09:30am and will arrive in Mikumi park at 12:00am, on arrive to mikumi you will meet your driver/guide enjoy evening game drive Mikumi National Park with your packed lunch for 3 hours, great animals sightings in different areas of the park like Mkata plain, Kisungura area and hippo dams. Animals commonly found here include lion, eland, hartebeest, buffalo, wildebeest, giraffe, zebra and elephant. Our professional guide will assist you to spot animal easily by using radio call equipped on car to communicate with another guide, hope your safari will be enjoyed.

At the end of game drive our guide will assist you to airstrip where you will meet your awaiting flight back to Zanzibar. Plane will departure to mikumi at 15:00pm

All "Set Departure" and "On Request" flights are subject to availability at the time of booking. Rates are per seat on round-trip basis (unless stated otherwise) and require a minimum of 2 passengers for the flight to operate. This requirement also applies for each landing on the route. Except with "Inducement flights" where 2 passengers may not be deemed enough traffic and to make the flight possible either further passengers must be booked, or the additional costs covered to justify the flight. All 'Set Departure' and 'On Request' flights will be temporarily re-categorized as 'Inducement flights' during the low season between 31st March and 31st May. At its sole discretion Safari Air Link may impose a requirement for a minimum number of passengers to be booked to a destination before operating that flight.
